June 14th – 16th – public presentation of the archive. Participants in collective projects (art, writing, curatorship, activism and so on) are invited to stop by and share experiences based on their practice, information which will be added to the archive. “Building Another (art)World” – Public presentation of the project and discussion on new models of collective culture – June 14

June 15th, 5 PM, HINTS Report, Ludwig Museum, Budapest. During the afternoon picnic Hints will talk with Rozalinda Borcila of common_places and others. Interviews made during the event will become a part of the archive.

Dinamo is an autonomous, non-profit artist-run-space, that functions on the bases of organic ‘self organization’. It is a space for work, presentation, experiments in the field of art, culture and communication, outside the established realm of art practice. Its goal is to promote the processes of multidisciplinary collaborative art practices and build new relationships among different activities in the context of broader cultural, social and political issues… Set at the crossing of alternative and institutional networks, our activities reflect the interdisciplinarity of today’s art world. Programs in Dinamo are in form of meetings, discussions, workshops, presentations, lectures, exhibitions, projections, studio work,…
It runs its public programs since October 2003. It gathers artists, activists, researchers, philosophers, technologists as well as inter-disciplinary teams working on collaborative projects.
Dinamo is located in the ex car repair service, 85m2 space, in Tűzoltó street 22, 9th district, Budapest. Dinamo is run by Hajnalka Somogyi and Katarina Sevic.
After almost 2 years of program with various participants, and unpredicted content, mainly from Hungary, Dinamo is now starting a more structured program of theme-specific periods of seminars, workshops and exhibitions.

Egy kollaboratív projekt és a kollaboratív művészi gyakorlatról szóló archívum bemutatása.

18.00 – 21.00, DINAMO (Tűzoltó u. 22, Budapest) – az archívum nyilvános bemutatása
“Egy új (művész)világ építése” – a projekt bemutatása és vita a kollaboratív gyakorlat új modelljeiről.

Június 15. 17.00 Hints Riport, Ludwig Múzeum, Budapest. Az utazó archívum olvasnivalói között megtalálható a Hints csoport munkáját bemutató portfolió. A Hints egy délutáni piknik keretében beszélget Rozalinda Borcilával és másokkal. Az eseményről készülő felvétel az archívumot gazdagítja.*

Június 16. DINAMO: az archívum böngészhető 18.00 és 20.00 között.

A Common Places egy együttműködésen alapuló projekt melynek kiindulópontja az Egyesült Államok, egy utazó archívum, különböző nyomtatott és digitális anyagok dokumentumok gyűjteménye melyek kollaboratív gyakorlatokat, működési módokat mutatnak be. A Common Places együttműködött több csoporttal a világ minden részéről, akik anyagokat küldtek a saját működésükről (CD-k, DVD-k, magazinok, könyvek, szórólapok, pószterek, képek másolatai, fotók stb.). A program szándéka, hogy ezen anyagokat a világban utaztatva elérhetővé tegye minél több ember számára formális és informális “kiállításokon” keresztül. Ezáltal egy új platformot hoz létre a különböző kollaboratív kezdeményezések találkozására, és elsődleges forrásul szolgál az ilyen tevékenységek vizsgálatához. A Common Places nemrégiben bemutatásra került a romániai Vector Galériában (Iasi), és anyaga egy nagy része érkezik Budapestre. A látogatók szabadon böngészhetnek az archívumban és vitathatják meg tapasztalataikat a kollaboratív gyakorlattal kapcsolatban.

Várjuk különböző csoportos projektek résztvevőit (képzőművészek, írók, kurátorok, aktivisták stb.) hogy megosszák tapasztalataikat, ezzel maguk is bővíthetik az archívum anyagát. Ha dokumentumokkal, anyagokkal szeretnék bővíteni a Common Places archívumát, a contact@commonplacesprojekt.org címen jelentkezhetnek.
